This is the newest of our Venture Groups and has primarily been setup for those members of the club who are looking to undertake one of the recognised photographic distinctions. Some are working toward the Royal Photographic Society (RPS) recognitions, LRPS, ARPS and FRPS.  Others are looking at the Awards for Photographic Merit (APM), CPAGB, DPAGB and MPAGB. 

We hold sessions where we all submit images either on a specific topic or just some of our favourite images for review and critique from a guest judge.  We also arrange group outings to practice and learn about different genres of photography. These have included a day out to Petworth Park to capture the rutting season with some members entering images from the shoot into competitions. We have a monthly theme and share via our WhatsApp Group again some of these images are entered into competitions and do well. Upcoming outings Jousting event and Astro Photography and Guildford Cathedral Tower Tour.
