The results of this competition are in! Our judge Royston Williamson has spent time marking and commenting on every image, for which we thank him very much.
There are 18 Entry PDIs, 18 Intermediate PDIs and 28 Advanced PDIs altogether, and I have put every one of them on Flickr in their 3 groups. I have only put marks on Flickr for those scoring 9 and above, but all the results can be found on the PDFs below, along with a brief comment from Royston.
Congratulations to all entrants on such a good show of images, and especially to those who received top marks. The results are in alphabetical order of title.

We didn’t win (unfortunately) but l think the panel was well received. Some weaknesses in individual images may have let us down a little. There were, of course, some stunning pictures and panels from other clubs. 18 clubs entered.
Grant Dawkins, Harold Russell and Gordon Rae were our selectors, thank you for your efforts.

The SPA inter-club PDI competition was held on the 12th of May. We did not do very well, coming 14th out of 19 in nature and 22 out of 27 in the open class. Judges that visit us always comment on the high standard of our photography and yet when we enter SPA or PAGB competitions we do not do well.
The winners can be viewed at http://surreypa.org.uk/?page_id=2177. Unfortunately we do not have a winning image.
I have now received the results of our individual entries –
