6th Oct | Guest Speaker – Colleen Slater – Macro Photography – Colleen is a creative, macro photography specialist with an interest in the smaller things in life, whether insects – beetles, spiders, butterflies, moths and ladybirds – or flowers, her evocative, atmospheric and intimate images draw attention to the ordinary, often unnoticed things in the everyday world. Her latest images reveal close-up details found in the urban environment. | HVH |

3rd Nov | Guest Speaker – Peter Dazeley BFM FRPS – Unseen London.
Peter studied photography at Holland Park Comprehensive (now known as the Socialist Eton). His work has won awards from organisations including the Association of Photographers, the Royal Photographic Society. As a born and bred Londoner, Peter’s book Unseen London is about his journey recording historic London buildings, their architecture and interiors, as they stand in the 21st Century. Battersea Power Station was the starting point for Peter; discovering other hidden London gems inspired him on his mission to photograph hidden London for future generations. |

1st Dec | Guest Speaker – Paul Shilliam FRPS – Talk – “Wildlife Photography My Way”. Some of the topics to be discussed
· Wildlife photography – what is it and how does it differ from other types of photography. · Habituation – reveal animal habituation and its impact on successful photography. · Setup – Demonstration of the photographic kit I use. · Lenses – explain the impact of differing lens types. · Composition – Explore how good composition and a favourable background can impact your images dramatically. |

5th Jan | Guest Speaker – Roger Mendham LRPS – Talk “Breaking the Rules” – A different perspective on the conventional rules of composition. A keen and accomplished photographer Roger has gained Distinctions from the Royal Photographic Society and was a former President of the Surrey Photographic Association.
His artistic taste is predominantly 20th century, and he is particularly interested in the visual aspects of art. |

Guest Speaker – Lawrence Homewood CPAGB EFIAP BPE2 Street & Travel Photography – The Street and Travel Access to Photography talk is presented on PowerPoint. The subjects I cover in this presentation cover my camera equipment and accessories, setting, tricks and techniques, useful facts knowing your rights, composing and editing your images, staged and un-staged street photography.
All the images featured were taken all over the United Kingdom, Europe, and Thailand featuring a diverse selection of people, buildings and locations. All images have been edited many of which were used to gain my photographic distinctions with BPE, PAGB, and FIAP. |

20th Apr | Guest Speaker – Peter Benson FRPS MCrGP AWPF. (Zoom, in hall). “Photography on the Darkside”, London Nights. During this presentation, Peter will first take us back into the early days of photography and the start of Urban Night Photography. The talk expands into a tour around some of his favourite places for night photography in and around Central London. During this journey he will be giving some hints and tips sprinkled with a bit of history about some of the places, so there is something for everyone. | HVH/Zoom |
