Club dinner 2019

The annual club dinner was held at The Royal Exchange on Thursday evening 14 March. 32 members attended, and all agreed that the food and service were excellent.

Unfortunately I forgot to take a camera, so I apologise  for the poor quality of the pictures – obviously I need more practice with a telephone, or a better memory!

There is a deposit of £10 per person to be paid to Yvonne Lindup  by 6 March, together with your menu choices. 

Please let Yvonne know if you are coming, the number in your party, and your menu selections. You can do this by email (ylindup@gmail.com), telephoning me on 01483-200525 or when you see her at the club. She will need to collect £10.00 per head in advance. The restaurant will set up individual tabs for your food and drinks, and the £10.00 deposits will be credited to these tabs. You will need to settle your tabs at the end of the evening.

Starters

1  Homemade soup of the day (V) (**) rustic bread
2  Battered tiger prawns rocket salad, sweet chilli and
             coriander sauce
3  Smoked chicken and bacon paté sun blushed tomatoes,
            dressed mixed leaf, toasted potato rosemary bread
4  Grilled goat’s cheese on a roasted mushroom and beef tomato(V)
          green pesto, rich tomato sauce, rocket salad,  balsamic glaze

Mains

1  Beef and St Peters’ dark ale pie
           chunky chips, chantennay carrots, red wine gravy
2  Grilled Mediterranean vegetable tart tatin (V)
          aioli, dressed rocket, parmesan shavings, balsamic glaze
3     Grilled chicken cobb salad bacon lardons, avocado, lettuce,                        watercress, boiled egg, cherry tomatoes, olives, blue cheese                    dressing
4  Battered fresh haddockBrixham Market sourced haddock, thick                    cut chips, garden peas, homemade tartare sauce
